The Creative mind

The Third Epistle of John verse 2 says that it is God's will that you may prosper in all things, "just as your soul prospers."

Often we are tormented by difficult experiences that seem to follow us like a shadow for the rest of our lives. Yet these same experiences could become the starting point for a miracle. God wants to restore His fire in you and break the power of disappointment. Many Christians live like animals in a small cage. They are in the wrong environment and have strayed from their true calling. Don't allow the devil to trap you in self-pity and bitterness because things didn't turn out like you expected.

Understand that God wants your life to prosper, and that you are created to succeed. Do not be limited in your thinking. There is so much potential that you need to discover. The world is negative, but you have been placed in a positive Kingdom.

Change is necessary, but not automatic. "The transformation of the mind is a process, and you need to decide to stand up when you fall."

FOCUS ON THE CROSS:

Your mind is the battleground where God and the devil meet. God is all-powerful, the devil is defeated, and you have authority over your mind and thoughts.

We have a carnal mind, but we also have the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16).

The mind of Christ implies that we have the ability to think like Jesus, but our flesh obstructs this revelation.

In life, we are either egocentric, which is self-centered, or Christ-centered, which is having our focus on Christ.

A frustrated mind originates in the ego, therefore, self-centeredness must go. The world needs Jesus, not you. Your carnal mind must be crucified, and your favorite thoughts must die. The cross must become the foundation of your life.

Your road to victory in the mind begins when you submit every thought in obedience to Christ. When the flesh is crucified, you will be able to think the thoughts of God and leave your limitations behind.

A single thought from God can chase away a thousand wrong thoughts! Your failure can be transformed into victory. God is challenging you to change your life. Don't wait for circumstances to change, or you will live a mediocre life of self-pity like the rest of the world.

LOVE YOURSELF:

You need to love yourselves because you're loved by God. You can't love others if you don't love yourself.

Christ in us is the solution to the problems of the world. No matter what you've gone through in life, you can be the overcomer God created you to be!

God deposited a creative ability in your mind that can be released.

It's up to you. The power comes from God, but your choices and actions determine the outcome. You need to rule over your mind. "Whoever has no rule over his own spirit is like a city broken down, without walls" (Proverbs 25:28).

FORMED BY THOUGHTS:

You are the result of your thoughts, even more than you realize. The strongest thought in your life controls you, and yesterday's thoughts have formed you today. Your mind is the architectural blueprint for tomorrow's circumstances.

We are admonished to rule our mind and to fill it with good, true and pure thoughts.

When you rule over your mind, your thoughts focus on things that are above where Christ is seated. Everything you need is in heaven, and you have been given the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Heaven is open to you.

Those who live according to the Spirit think about the things that belong to the Spirit, but carnal-minded, worldly Christians think about the things that belong to the flesh. Your mind wants to focus on the things of the past to find security. Yet, your security can only be found in walking with Christ today. In order to think right thoughts, our minds need to be renewed.

Your mind can steal your life away from you. A constant feeling of shame, which is considered "spiritual" by religion, is common to many. God is good, and he has only good thoughts for you. He wants to give you complete victory.

There are three things that are necessary for us to know:

1- That we're priceless because we are created by God.

2- That Jesus has done everything for us, and we can identify with it.

3- That God had a wonderful plan for us, no matter how things look today.

"You can become a creative, Godly individual who thinks big in a gray and dark world!"

PROBLEMS ARE NO PROBLEMS:

In 2 Corinthians 11:1-3, Paul writes that he fears they would be deceived by their minds turning away from the simplicity that is in Christ.

The carnal mind is an enemy to God, but the Spiritual mind is focused on Jesus. If your mind is set on Jesus, He will satisfy you and the world will lose its attraction. The self-centeredness of the carnal mind is the cause of our problems.

Problems are no problems, they are unresolved occurrences. This should be your attitude when challenges and problems confront you: "Hallelujah! It will be interesting to see what God will do, and what creative ideas He will give me to meet the challenge."

The mixture of the qualities of the mind, reason, feeling, will and imagination, comprise your personality and are the channels through which your spirit reveals Jesus to you.

Take each thought and ask God if the thought comes from Him. In this way, we submit every thought in obedience to Christ. Strongholds of thoughts, strongholds of the will and emotional strongholds must be torn down.

You are created with an imagination and creativity, an ability to dream and plan. You are uniquely created. God wants to release His creativity in you because he has deposited His own creative abilities in you.

Rebel against the devil. His desire is to steal your creativity and oppress you.

You are not a loser. You are valuable. Therefore, don't waste your life in mediocre, time-consuming activities. God wants you to realize your true value and have confidence in yourselves.

God's deposited investment in you is worthy of a greater destiny than of being thrown in the dump because you gave up. When God says, "stand up, take your bed and go!" don't tell Him that it isn't possible. You can do whatever God tells you to do.

WHAT DO YOU SEE?

The only things in life that move us ahead are the things we go for! Something is wrong when people who have life, do not produce life. One problem is that it is easier to listen to our circumstance than to God.

Do not let your soul agree with your circumstances, but with the Spirit instead. Your fear needs to be broken to hear from God, because God is not limited by your limitations!

Unbelief, rebellion and disobedience are the factors that limit the work of God. The purpose of your life is to live with God in Jesus. God made Abram into Abraham because He transcended Abraham's limitations. God will do the same for you.

The supernatural was natural in the first church. They were led by angels, visions, revelations and words from the Holy Spirit like the words preached by Peter in Acts.

You need to be a visionary, a dreamer. The Holy Spirit wants to impart images within you so that you can see what God wants to bring to pass in your life.

The mistake we usually make is when we attempt to understand God with our senses. Open your spirit instead.

We have been called to be stewards of what we have received. Do something and increase what you have already received. God had planned success, harvest and increase for you. Start thinking about how this is going to take place. "How will I have a harvest in my field?"

What is your attitude about your life, and where will you be in five or ten years? Your attitude is more important than the face you see.

If your resources were unlimited, what would you do? What would you become? Consider it and dream about it. You need to see something to have a goal, a purpose, something to live for. No matter where you are; God has given you something to start with. God is at work within you, in your will and in your actions, and He wants to fulfill your heart's desire.

DARE TO DREAM:

We must not fall into an over-spiritual ditch and think that God would prefer that you were a pastor instead of something "worldly". It is better to be a happy optician than a frustrated preacher!

Don't limit God. A few fish and some bread can go a long way! Jesus told Peter to move out into the deep water and cast his nets. The fisherman, Peter, had every human reason to protest. He fished the entire night without success, and it was impossible to catch fish during the day. Yet, he didn't let his limited experience stop him. He did what Jesus said and the nets were filled with fish!
