More people than ever are discovering the dynamic reality of personal Christian faith.
God…the Father who desires to be known…
The most important thing to know is that you have an eternal relationship with God, the creator of the universe. He is the one who has spoken, and His word will not change.
Unlike other major world religions, Christianity has never been a matter of just fulfilling a set of moral or religious requirements.
Being a Christian has more to do with entering into a personal relationship with the Gather God much more than just following rules and regulations.
God has declared his will for every person by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to live the life, die the death and be raised from the dead on behalf of every person, in every nation and in every generation.
The death and resurrection of Jesus declares God’s love for you. He offers this gracious provision for you to live your life based upon a personal relationship with Him.
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ involve both and invitation and a command. The invitation is to free will-we have choice.
The fact that it is a command means that if we don’t accept the invitation; we will have to bear the consequences for the choice we have made.
To accept God’s invitation and provision means that we will experience His abundant life and salvation. To reject such an offer means that we remain under the curse of sin.
Jesus described that experience as being “born again” (John 3:3). He said it was like having the chance to start your life all over again on a new and right foundation.
Becoming a Christian involves four steps. God has provided them as the doorway to receiving essential gifts that every Christian needs from Him.
The following facts outline the way you can receive all on God’s gift of salvation.
Step 1: Repentance-the key to receiving forgiveness from God
Step 2: faith commitment to Jesus-the key to receiving the gift of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Step 3: Baptism in water-the key to experiencing the gift of God’s power over sin.
Step 4: Baptism in the Holy spirit-the key to receiving God’s supernatural power for ministry in Jesus’ name.
“Repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of your sins” (Acts 2:38).
